Kazakhstani products are in demand in Azerbaijan
The representatives of the Transcaucasian republic are interested in import of Kazakh agricultural products
The prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation, issues of expansion of trade and economic relations, attraction of investments and, in general, the most urgent areas of partnership were discussed at the site of the Regional Chamber during the meeting of participants of the business community of Akmola region and Azerbaijan.
Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Agadzhavid Ramazanov, in particular, noted that the purpose of the visit – is to explore wider the export potential of our region, to agree on joint activities (implementation of the projects, the creation of enterprises, etc.), to create conditions for mutual trade.
Talking about the features of the business and investment climate in the country, the vice-president of the Association of business investments of Azerbaijan, chairman of the Union of Azerbaijani business in Kazakhstan Gunduz Mammadli noted that over the past ten years more than 200 billion USD were attracted in the economy of the south of the republic, and in order to promote products, which are produced today in excess, the country is very interested in partnership.
By the way, the geographical location of the country, stocks of raw materials, favorable climate for the development of agriculture and tourism, similar mentality, fraternal relationships (currently about one hundred thousand Azerbaijanis live in Kazakhstan), the lack of a language barrier creates many opportunities for cooperation.
In particular, the sides discussed the issue of export of agricultural products from Kazakhstan. Roadside service Owner Zuhrab Veliyev, by the way, the representative of the Azerbaijani Diaspora, is interested in conditions ensuring the transit of goods, the size of the transport tariffs for the supply of cereal products. Individual entrepreneur Feraya Zagreeva, engaged in the construction business, is interested in terms of delivery of building materials.
Traditionally, it was a question about the prospects of cooperation in the development of the tourism industry. Tourism is one of the priorities in Azerbaijan, so Azerbaijan is very interested in increasing the tourist flow.
Talking to businessmen of Akmola, they also talked about the possibilities of providing commercial space for sale of finished products, raw materials, the supply of fruits and vegetables on our market and others.
